As the Account Receivable Specialist you are a result-driven individual, motivated to work on a range of collections and accounts receivable duties within the B2B market. You will interact with intern As the Account Receivable Specialist you are a result-driven individual, motivated to work on a range of collections and accounts receivable duties within the B2B market. You will interact with internal teams, external clients, customers, and merchants, demonstrating a strong sense of urgency and ownership when handling customer receivable inquiries. You will also provide direct support to customers as well as support the entire Client AR team for their daily responsibilities.The main responsibilities in this role involved managing key accounts, you will manage relationships and provide support to internal and external customers. Along side this your responsibilities will entail:
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in AR and/or multiple AR programs/systems.
  • De-escalate challenging situations with customers, clients, or merchants.
  • Provide primary support for escalated inquiries from internal and external customers.
  • Resolve complex issues promptly, conducting necessary research and analysis.
  • Assist with training and mentoring.
  • Navigate challenging conversations tactfully, adapting to various communication styles.
  • Travel as needed to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Exceed department metrics, program Service Level Agreements, and departmental standards.
  • Illustrate initiative by proactively addressing customer and merchant concerns.
  • Act as a point of contact, providing direction to the team and ensuring adequate coverage.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and foster a culture of excellence within the team.
  • Provide assistance to internal departments to address program challenges.
  • Identify process enhancements to improve department efficiency.
  • Conduct system testing and QA, escalating and resolving defects.
  • Assist Leadership team with Receivable tasks for new program implementations.
  • Have minimum 2 years of related accounts receivable experience
  • Relevant study is an preferred
  • Strong ability to resolve challenging customer situations.
  • Solid negotiation skills under difficult circumstances.
  • Excellent listening skills.
  • Coachable with the ability to improve performance based on feedback.
  • Highly competent with Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Willingness to share information, advice, and suggestions to help others to be more successful.
  • Ability to consistently exceed expectations in an ever-changing environment.
