Job Title: Plastering Tutor (Trainee or Qualified Tutor opportunity)
 
Location: Centre based
Salary: up to £34,000 (Depending on skills and experience)
Type: Full Time, Permanent
 
Essential Criteria:
Hold own Plastering qualification at level 2 or above
Willingness to work towards PTLLS/AET and/or Assessors Award - fully funded and supported by employer
Have experience of delivering training ‘on the job’ or workshops to 1-1 / groups of learners
Must hold solid occupational competency within Plastering,
Must be IT Literate.
Duties include:
Deliver vocational qualifications in Plastering up to Level 2, to learners who are looking to improve their employability prospects, skills and knowledge.
Delivery will be in small groups and include providing support with long term career goals.
Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners skills knowledge and behaviours
Monitor learner attendance and progress through regular learner assessment and reviews.
Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.
Embedding of Maths and English into sessions.
Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.Personal Skills:
Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively
Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people
