Design Engineer

CareerLink have a very exciting new oppourtinity for anybody who is looking to pursue their career in mechanical Engineer.

We are currently recruiting for a well-experienced Desgin Mechanical Engineer to work for one of our well-established and lead desgining companies based in the NG18 2EY radius.

This role would require you to work on a Monday - Friday basis from the hours of 09:00am - 17:00pm.

Duties this role will include;

Detailed desgin of new products from concept stage through to production
Conceptual desgin , assembly / sub assembly and detailed drawings calculations where necessary , generation of desgin files
Redevelopment of existing products in order to enhance the desgin , cut costs and consider ease of manufacturing
Apperciation of methods of manufacture - particuarly in line with our own manufacturing capabilities
Apperciation of different material properties and basic engineering processes
Project management from concept to production
Implementation of field trials
Testing of prototypes
Liasion with customers , engineers and shop floor staff

Qualifications and Requirements;

HND (minimum)/ Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
At least 3 years working experience in Solidworks
Experience in taking ownership of a project
Experience in technical authoring and solidworks composer

This is a very exciting new opportunity which would suit a dynamic and creative individual that enjoys running from initial concept stage through to final prodcution not afraid of taking ownership and getting involved at all levels.

The annual salary is ranging from £45,000 - 50,000 per year
