Head of Engineering - Logistics Platform Provider-£85k & car allowance - Northampton

Major brand supplying huge global brands with world-class supply chain solutions require a Head of Engineering at Senior Manager level to assume overall accountability for the performance of the Integrated Projects Engineering teams
of Project Engineering (Mechanical Design), Controls Engineering (PLC based systems), Integration testing and Electrical Design.

You'll also be responsible for ensuring technical solution is compliant with contract requirements and meet appropriate standards to be able to provide a UKCA certificate at job completion. You'll be responsible for the motivation, development and performance of the Engineering team and be a key Senior Manager in the business
who will work alongside the Head of Projects and Purchasing Manager, to ensure Integrated projects are delivered safely, on time, on budget and to the required quality standards.

This is a high profile role within the business and as such you'll be there to call, attend, lead as necessary design reviews on Engineering elements, ensuring the optimum technical solution is met in line with schedule, budget and resource requirements as well as to sign the UKCA/CE certificate to signify compliance with standards at the completion of the project.

Finally, you'll own, at a senior level, the financial performance of the engineering team on each integrated projects – supporting the project manager to generate cost forecasts and attending the Finance reviews to present performance to the business executive team.
