Pay: £1517. per hour

Length: up to 3 months

Location: Wellingborough or Kettering

Shifts: 6.30am - working for 7.4 hours per day, Mon-Fri

Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of North Northamptonshire Council for waste collection driver to temporarily join their busy team within waste department.

Main duties'

To drive a Large Goods Vehicle (LGV) competently and in accordance with management instructions, acting as crew leader when collecting refuse.
To ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with the relevant guidelines to achieve customer satisfaction and the safety of the team.
Ensuring that the vehicle is safe to take onto the highway, undertaking daily and weekly routine servicing of the vehicle as specified in the Driver's Defects Reporting Book.You will be only allocated to one of the depots - either Wellingborough or Kettering, however as per business needs you might be asked to cover shifts within both
