Job Title: Deputy Manager-Childrens Residential Home (SEMH)

Location: Leiston, Suffolk

Days and hours of work:  40 hours per week
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £28,500-£33,000 depending on experience

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for Deputy Manager within a Children’s Residential Home in Leiston along the Suffolk Coast. This is a 4 bedded residential home for Children with SEMH who require help and support to grow and develop into adulthood.

Our client provides care for Children aged between 9-17 years old, ensuring they live in nurturing homes.

THE ROLE

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE

You will have experience working with Children with SEMH
You will have proven experience dealing with behaviour that challenges
Full clean driving licence
Have experience and knowledge of the Ofsted framework
NVQ level 3 or above (Essential)
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Children’s Health and Social Care ( not essential but must be willing to undertake)
A passion for supporting Children and encouraging independence
Creating staff rota’s and monitoring staff holidays and sickness
Auditing case files and writing reports
Assisting the Registered manager in HR administration tasks
Good communicator on all levels
