Pastoral Officer - SEND Schools Trust, Chesterfield

Location: Chesterfield (Across Multiple Sites)
Contract Type: Full-Time (37 hours per week, Monday to Friday)

Are you a dedicated and compassionate individual with a passion for supporting students with special educational needs? We are seeking a Pastoral Officer to join our trust of SEND schools in Chesterfield. This role involves working across multiple sites, so your own transport and a full driving licence are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide pastoral support to primary and secondary age pupils with emotional, social, and behavioural difficulties who are not in mainstream education.
Liaise effectively with parents, outside agencies, and staff within the schools to ensure comprehensive support for students.
Develop and implement strategies to promote the well-being and academic progress of students.
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of pastoral support and interventions.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for students and staff.Requirements:

Proven experience in a pastoral or similar support role, ideally within an educational setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with parents, external agencies, and school staff.
Own transport and a full driving licence are essential due to the need to travel across multiple sites.
Understanding of the challenges faced by students with emotional, social, and behavioural difficulties.What We Offer:
