Marketing and Design Manager

Shawthorpe are seeking a dynamic and Innovative Marketing and Design Manager to join one of our prestigious clients based in Durham.

Job Purpose

As the Marketing & Design Manager, you'll be the storyteller and advocate for the company’s environmental initiatives. Your creativity, strategic thinking, and passion for sustainability will drive the success of marketing campaigns, reinforcing the commitment to a greener world.

Duties / Responsibilities

Marketing & Design Manager

Your role will be to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote the environmental services portfolio and enhance brand visibility, identifying key market segments as part of the marketing campaigns.

You will be creating compelling content across various platforms, conducting market research to identify positioning strategies and will oversee the graphic design team.

The organisation of events, webinars and seminars would be expected to promote activities within the business. The use of marketing analytic techniques to gather important data to measure the success of the campaigns and key stakeholder relationship management will ensure to influence and amplify brand reach.

Key Skills / Ability / Experience

Demonstrated success in marketing roles, preferably within the environmental/sustainability/waste sector.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex environmental concepts in a clear and engaging manner.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.

Familiarity with digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and social media channels.

A creative mindset coupled with a genuine passion for sustainability and a desire to contribute to meaningful environmental initiatives.

Working Hours

Permanent Full Time – 39 .5 hours per week

9 – 5pm Monday to Friday
