What you will do:

Review, manage and maintain the site Health, Safety, Security and Environmental Management System
Lead the forward planning activities for the site
Liaise with external interested parties including (but not exclusive to) Auditors, EHS representatives, local or national authorities, EHS activity suppliers
Ensure full compliance
Carbon reduction commitment and management
Promote hazard identification
Work with the other departments to ensure adherence to requirements and auditable processes are in place. Support development of risk assessment and SOP’s
Initiate and support engineering cost reductions 
Manage Root Cause Analysis
Lead and develop the site’s sustainability strategy and delivery of it, to meet targets and objectivesWhat you need: 

Effective leadership and communication skills, encouraging good communication and working relationships across the business
Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and developments
Competency training i.e. toolbox talks and awareness briefings
Being a role model for a culture of continuous improvement, seeking opportunities with a cross functional team approach wherever possible
Being an action driven leader, proactive and forward thinking with high influencing skills
Role modelling the values and supporting business activities for inclusivity and culture.
IOSH Managing Safely and NEBOSH certificated with proven experience within an FMCG business
Auditor Trained i.e. ISO9001, 22000 or 44001
