As a Shift Supervisor, your responsibilities will include…

* Managing all activities/processes on shifts with overall responsibility of the team

* Working to maximise efficiency and productivity of the production process

* Working closely with HSEQ with a big focus on hygiene, health & safety to ensure compliance

* Running the machines with the team, liaising with maintenance, engineering and technical

* Completing quality control and process control checks to ensure specs are met

* Reviewing risk assessments/safe systems of work to facilitate safe/best practice working.

* Performance management of the team; 1-2-1’s, appraisals, training, and development.

We are looking for a Shift Supervisor with the following skills and experience…

* Experience within manufacturing (paper mill, chemicals, paper converting, print, textiles)

* Experience working in a factory environment for a number of years.

* IOSH or an ILM qualification (ideally level 3) would be beneficial

* Leadership and management skills are preferred

* Compassionate, empathetic, nurturing, and patience with strong communications skills

* Previous experience working to shift patterns is helpful & happy to work nights/weekends

In return, the successful Shift Supervisor will receive a salary of £46,500 to £51,500, plus the following benefits…
