Energy & Sustainability Manager

Insight Executive are currently working with a NHS Trust who are looking for an Energy & Sustainability Manager to join them

The role

* To lead, implement, and act as the single Trust expert on, the Trust’s comprehensive sustainability strategy

* To manage and deliver savings in the energy and utility expenditure as part of the annual cost reduction plan

* To provide specialist knowledge and advice on Sustainability strategy development and implementation across the whole range of Trust clinical and non-clinical activity

* To influence the organisation and its behaviour by driving forward it’s compliance with environmental legislation, best practice and cutting edge leadership in all aspects of sustainability

The candidate

* Educated to a degree level in environmental studies OR relevant experience

* Proven track record of developing and implementing sustainability and energy awareness solutions successfully in a large complex organisation

* Extensive specialist knowledge and practical experience of managing large scale organisation wide sustainability/energy awareness programmes
