Warehouse Manager/ Supervisor

Job Summary:

Siamo Recruitment are seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, coordinating logistics, and leading a team to ensure efficient operations.

Duties:
- Manage and optimise warehouse processes to ensure timely fulfilment of orders
- Supervise and train warehouse staff in areas such as materials handling, shipping, and receiving
- Implement and maintain warehouse management systems to track inventory levels accurately
- Oversee the use of equipment such as forklifts and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Coordinate with vendors, carriers, and other departments to facilitate smooth operations
- Develop and implement strategies to improve warehouse efficiency and reduce costs

Experience:
- Proven experience in warehouse management, logistics, and team management
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems, AS400 experience is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate forklifts safely
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes
- Familiarity with business processes related to inventory management
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
