Anderson Knight is currently recruiting a Stock Processing Assistant for a client based in Lanarkshire.

As a Stock Processing Assistant, you will maintain the accuracy of stock data and transaction records for all spirit movements to, on, and from the site. You will also support the validation and transfer of stock identification data to warehouse staff.

Additionally, you will ensure compliance with HMRC regulations regarding the handling and movement of all spirits.

The position offers a comfortable office setting, with 39 working hours from Monday to Friday, along with the added perks of an early finish on a Friday and on-site parking.

Key Responsibilities:
• Verify the inventory recorded in vats.
• Document the receipt and dispatch of casks and tankers.
• Generate records for new fillings.
• Keep cask stock locations up to date.
• Ensure compliance with Customs and Excise regulations for the receipt, handling, and dispatch of spirits.
• Organise and maintain all documentation and records to ensure audit readiness and compliance, both internally and at third-party sites.
• Ensure the accuracy of inventory data, assisting in the identification and resolution of any issues.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including relevant regulatory bodies such as HMRC.
• Collaborate with departments such as warehousing, process, quality, and the maturation team.
