PERMANENT EXPERIENCED INDEPENDENT FINANICAL ADVISER (IFA) – 50 – 70K + bonus – BORDERS OF MK/BEDFORD
We are looking for an experienced IFA to contribute to the success of an small, independent organisation

Daily duties are likely to involve:-
* Ensure new and existing clients make profitable decisions to meet their financial requirements
* Prepare financial plans and recommendations to ensure clients meet their targets
* Generate new business and build relationships
* Maintain and update knowledge of regulations, practices, and financial products
* Prepare and communicate easily understandable suitability letters capturing your recommendations to customers.
* Prospecting (lead generation from existing clients)
* Offering a range of advice appropriate to the Adviser’s competence
* Aware of and complying with the rules set out in the FCA Handbook i.e MCOBS, ICOBS, COCON, SYSC etc and the set procedures of the business to achieve compliance.
* Comply with the requirements laid down in the Compliance and Administration procedures
* Create compliant client files where all communications are documented correctly
* Fully conversant with Intelligent Office.
* Obtain and maintain an active ‘Statement of Professional Standing’ (SPS)
In return, what we need from you:-
* Experience as an IFA/Financial Planner
* Diploma in Finance Advice
* Strong understanding of Pension/Investments
* Hungry for new business and sales orientated
* Strong communication skills
* Someone looking to grow with the organisation
* Hours are predominantly Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm but within this type of role you know you will need to be flexible to accommodate appointments. Initially in the office but once settled a hybrid option could be available
* Have the focus and want to become Chartered, the plan around this will be discussed with the organisation but you must want to down this career path
