Purpose of the Role:
 
The Head of Bars will lead and develop bar teams across all locations, ensuring exceptional quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction. You will oversee training programs, drive revenue growth through creative initiatives, and ensure the highest standards of service and stock management.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
Leadership and Team Development
Engage with each site, prioritizing your time based on specific needs and challenges.
Mentor and develop Bar Managers, providing one-on-one coaching to nurture talent.
Foster a positive, engaging, and performance-driven culture across all bar teams. Training and Implementation
Oversee all aspects of bar training, ensuring consistency in service standards.
Work hands-on with bar teams during both day and night shifts to implement training effectively.
Ensure all team members are equipped with the skills and knowledge to excel in their roles. Operational Excellence
Monitor and manage stock control to optimize profitability.
Develop and implement efficient rota systems to ensure the right staffing levels.
Conduct regular audits to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance. Menu Development and Innovation
Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and introduce new cocktails and drinks.
Stay updated with industry trends to keep offerings fresh and appealing.
Lead menu development initiatives to enhance the customer experience and drive sales. Revenue Growth and Financial Performance
Develop and execute strategies to grow bar revenue.
Utilize data and feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Implement creative ideas to boost sales and enhance customer engagement.  
Requirements

Proven experience in a senior bar management role, preferably within a multi-site hospitality chain.
Strong leadership skills with a passion for team development and mentoring.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
In-depth knowledge of bar operations, stock management, and service standards.
Creative and innovative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel across sites as required.
