Social Media Content Creator

We are looking for a highly organised Social Media (content creator) and proactive person, able to work against tight deadlines with outstanding prioritisation skills. The right candidate will be a passionate and creative individual with social media content creation experience. With a focus on delivering premium content that engages a variety of audiences across multiple brand accounts.

Responsibilities

* Create engaging and dynamic written, graphic and video content.

* Engage in social media presence creation on new and emerging social media platforms.

* Optimizes content following search engine optimization (SEO).

* Creates content that promotes audience interaction, increases audience presence on company sites and encourages audience participation.

* Assists social media team with large projects.

* Works as part of a team to develop large social media campaigns.

* Monitor competitor activity.

* Proposes new ideas and concepts for social media content.

* Be knowledgeable in social media trends and integrate these into the business.

* Use analytics tools to gauge the success of campaigns.

* Develop social content for growing sales & increasing awareness.

* Work cohesively with in-house teams to ensure targets are met.

Skills & Experience

* Excellent knowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and TikTok.

* 1 -2 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on content creation.

* A degree in graphic design, Art or Marketing Is preferred.

* Strong photography and videography skills, with the ability to capture compelling visuals that tell a story.

* Confident computer skills.

* Transferable creative flair.

* Analytical skills.

* Clear and concise communication skills.

* Ability to work well under pressure.

* Attention to detail.

* Eagerness to learn about new innovations and software.

* Excellent time management skills.

* Design experience or skills on Adobe / Corel / Photoshop desirable but not essential.

* Knowledge of google analytics

* Knowledge of paid advertisements desirable.

* A team player, capable of independent thinking but naturally collaborative in spirit.
