Salary: £35,000 to £41,600 basic plus overtime. Realistic £50,000 earnings

Location: Gloucestershire , easily commutable from Worcester , Hereford , Ledbury , Gloucester , Cheltenham , Tewkesbury , Moreton-in-Marsh , Evesham

An additional, very interesting Agricultural Service Engineer role has just been created to expand a well established and busy team. Superb technical training and development opportunities.

The Agricultural Service Engineer role:

This role will involve working on a diverse range of high-specification agricultural equipment.

*

The work will reflect practical mechanical and basic electrical repair skills using a wide range of hand and power tools.

*

There is a mix of work, primarily in-field and some workshop. Jobs will be within a reasonable distance (c. 40 miles) from the Workshop.

*

You will have the back-up of an exceptionally efficient support team and spares system.

*

Skills required for the Agricultural Service Engineer role:

*

You should have solid agricultural machinery field service experience.

*

You should have strong problem-solving ability and be resourceful to effect sound repairs.

*

Good practical mechanical / basic electrical repair skills using hand/power tools are the core of the role.

*

You should have good all-round communication and interpersonal skills in order to provide a high standard of service to Customers.

*

You should be able to read vehicle based drawings, manuals and instructions.

*

You need to be well organised in terms of post-job admin and ensuring your van is appropriately stocked with tools, spares and consumables.

*

You must have a full driving licence.
