This is a great opportunity for a SALES EXECUTIVE to join the team of a successful and well established Smethwick based manufacturing business

You will be working from a buzzing, newly refurbished, office environment while both visiting and receiving customers in person.

Salary is negotiable with experience but is anticipated to be in the region of £30,000 plus incentives package. Working hours are 8.30am to 5.00pm Mon to Fri.

As a SALES EXECUTIVE within this business your will undertake the following key activities:

* Balance new business development with account management

* Face to face customer meetings

* Identify and pursue potential new customers, business leads and enquiries

* Nurture and build both new and established customer relationships

* Achieve performance and activity targets on a weekly basis

* Maintaining customer database and records

* Progress chasing

The successful SALES EXECUTIVE will have the following key skills and attributes:

* Experience in a field or office based, business to business selling role

* Business to business sales, ideally within engineering, manufacturing, industrial or similar

* Financially & commercially astute

* Skilled communicator and strong, opportunistic negotiator

* Self-motivated and structured with a target driven approach

* Computer & social media literate

This SALES EXECUTIVE position will ideally suit a systematic and motivated self starter with a background in selling metal finishing services within the engineering and manufacturing sectors.
