Production Supervisor

We are looking to recruit a production supervisor on a permanent basis for our Client

Must have

* Previous experience as Team Leader / Supervisor within a Manufacturing / Packaging environment

* Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Good basic IT & Numerical skills

* Ability to meet deadlines in pressurised environment

* Problem solving

* Team player

* Be flexible in approach to working hours

Permanent contract with a starting salary of £35k

Circa of 40 hours per week - Sat and Sunday plus 3 other days of your choice

Hours - 8am - Finish

Main duty

Monitor line performance during the day to ensure they are running as efficiently as possible

Ensure staffing levels are at optimum levels for efficiency

Monitor staff performance at lines and raise concerns with production manager if further training, records of discussion etc are needed.

Monitor quality at the line to ensure within spec.∙

Carry out necessary QC checks incl. Metal, labels etc.∙

Liaise with Production Manager, intake lead and despatch lead regarding plan for the day and assist in the product changes carrying out necessary checks.
