Full Job Description:
M4 Specialist are currently seeking a reliable and experienced CAD Technician to join our client’s team in Armthorpe. This is a permanent position working for a local engineering company with a great working environment.
Shifts for the role of CAD Technician:
* Monday to Thursday: 0800am – 1700pm, Friday 0800am – 16:30pm.
Duties of a Fitter/Assembler:
* Assisting the Design Office Manager.
* Managing CAD/Drawing standards.
* Developing and maintaining (bill of material (BOM) creation, publishing Drawings etc.)
* General software troubleshooting.
* Developing new machinery when needed.
* Overseeing standard part design and documentation in conjunction with Design Office Manager.
* Programming of standard configurable machines.
* General design troubleshooting and advice.
Requirements for the role of Fitter/Assembler:
* Strong people skills.
* Be able to manage a wide variety of engineering process/jobs.
* Be proficient with computers and the use of Inventor, 3D, 2D, Microsoft Office Software, Word, Excel.
* Experience in working in this area of expertise (engineering).
