About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Design Manager to join our dynamic team. You will lead a team of design professionals in the delivery of high-rise residential developments, overseeing all aspects of the design process from conception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate the design team, ensuring project deadlines and budgets are met.
Provide technical and design leadership, fostering a collaborative and creative working environment.
Liaise with architects, engineers, and other consultants to ensure a seamless design integration.
Manage design risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
Oversee the production of high-quality design documentation and drawings.
Ensure compliance with all relevant building regulations and planning requirements.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations in high-rise residential design.
Contribute to the development of design proposals and presentations.
Essential Skills:
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Design Manager role within the residential development sector.
Proven track record of successfully delivering high-rise residential projects.
Strong understanding of building regulations and planning requirements.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
Desirable Skills:
Experience working within a fast-paced and demanding environment.
Knowledge of sustainable design principles.
Experience in BIM (Building Information Modelling).
Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary that will depend upon experience but looking within the range of £60,000 to £70,000 pa plus full benefits package, along with the opportunity to work on exciting high-profile projects in a dynamic and supportive environment.
