Sr. Accountant

Position Overview: 
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules
Perform variance analysis and provide insights to management on financial performance
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve any discrepancies
Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency
Ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards
Assist with audits and provide necessary support to auditors
Mentor junior staff and provide guidance on accounting principles and best practices
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification preferred
3-5+ years of experience in accounting or related field
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, Famous) and Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
