Position: CNC Machinist (Mill & Lathe)
Location: St Charles, MO
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Hourly Rate: $17-$18/hr
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist in St Charles, MO. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for the setup and operation of CNC Mills and/or Lathes, contributing to the precision manufacturing of components.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform machine setups and operations on CNC Mills and/or Lathes.
Engage in light programming and editing as needed.
Inspect parts according to specifications, making necessary adjustments for quality.
Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift.
Follow preventative maintenance protocols to ensure equipment reliability.
Utilize advanced measurement skills to meet precise tolerances.
Demonstrate proficiency in common shop math.
Collaborate effectively within a team-oriented work environment.
Requirements
Qualifications and Requirements:
Previous relevant experience in CNC machining.
Self-starter with the ability to follow work instructions.
Knowledge of G&M code.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Proficient in the use of precision measuring equipment.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Physical Requirements:
Physical effort includes standing, stooping, bending, reaching, and the ability to lift, handle, and carry trays weighing up to 50 lbs.
