Founding Middle School Educator

The Founding Middle School Teachers are the heartbeat of a successful launch of East Tennessee’s only public, bilingual school. The Founding Middle School Teachers will be responsible for the daily implementation of the ChattAcademy vision and the first line of support for students and families. As a founding teacher, you will have the opportunity to establish the school's academic program, policies, and procedures alongside the leadership team. As a founding teacher, you will play a critical role in bringing ChattAcademy's vision to life and ensuring each student receives a high-quality, supportive education. The Founding Middle School Teachers report to the Middle School Principal.

Meticulous attention to detail, precision, and accuracy
Experience
3+ years teaching experience at the middle school level preferred
Knowledge of effective instructional methods and behavior management strategies
Strong content expertise in core subjects (ELA, math, science, social studies, physical education)
Commitment to social-emotional learning and whole child development
Growth mindset and passion for shaping school culture and norms
Excellent communication and relationship building skills
