INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
* Rapidly growing snack food manufacturing is expanding due to an increase in business and is searching for top notch,INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
* They are opening a start of the art operation in Brookfield, IL and are hiring an entire maintenance department to start-up the operation
* These are all newly created roles with the intention of building the department as they setup, layout and install new equipment

* Salary range is based on electrical experience and education and ranges from $32 - $42 / hr
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Meet plant objectives in safety, quality, cost, and customer care
* Perform daily / weekly PMs and run projects to ensure equipment is running properly
* Provide efficient troubleshooting and repair equipment to maximize efficiencies and limit downtime
* Maintain and repair all equipment in operation which includes electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
* Assist with installations as they expand
REQUIREMENTS:
MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
* 5+ years of maintenance manufacturing experience; preferably in a foods, plastics, CPG or related high-speed manufacturing environment
* Strong mechanical and electrical skills
* Experience the following: PLC troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, electric motors, pumps, valves, belts, pulleys, gearboxes, conveyors, electrical wiring (120/240/480), AC/DC, control voltage, run conduit, pull wires and 3-phase motors
* Able to read blueprints and schematics
* Self-motivated, positive attitude, energetic, punctual, hard-working, and eager to be part of a good team
Preferred experience:
* Manufacturer industry specific knowledge within the food industry
* Associates or other technical discipline / related maintenance certifications
* Able to troubleshoot and or program PLCs, read ladder logic
* Experience with welding, pipefitting, boilers, or HVAC is a plus
