Hampton Inn & Suites in Mansfield, PA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their dynamic team! If you enjoy janitorial duties, basic repairs, and preventative maintenance work - this is the job for you!
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Ensures completion of all routine maintenance on guest rooms, public spaces, back-of-the-house spaces, and grounds.
Complete and maintain records of building and guest room preventative maintenance, quarterly mattress turning, and pest control.
Maintain and repair doors, furniture, hardware, windows, hang artwork and headboards, etc.
Climb on ladders, stoop, push or pull heavy furniture, and grasp hand tools.
Check and add chemicals to pool.
Clean and paint all areas of the hotel.
Keep the property grounds clean and well-maintained.
Perform other general janitorial and maintenance duties in and around the hotel.
Respond in a courteous manner to guest questions, complaints, and/or requests.
Report to the property as needed to ensure guest satisfaction as needed.
All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Basic knowledge of skilled trade activities in plumbing, carpentry, electrical and mechanical work, and painting.
Basic mechanical aptitude for the operation and repair of hotel equipment.
Skill in the use of a variety of skilled trade tools (including both hand and electric tools).
Report work completed daily to a supervisor.
Must be able to carry and lift 50 pounds; push and pull 100 pounds.
Wear proper uniform at all times in accordance with the Standards of Appearance.
Must have a flexible schedule; must be available as needed including holidays and weekends.
