Job Title: Technical Sales Specialist, DACH South

Location: DACH South (South of Württemberg or Bavaria)

A pioneering organization in mass photometry and a leader in biomolecular analytics instrumentation for both Academic and Biopharma/Biotech sectors is expanding its presence across Europe, particularly in the DACH South region covering Bavaria, Baden, Austria, and Switzerland.

We are seeking a seasoned Sales Specialist, based in South Germany, to lead our market expansion efforts in these territories.

As the Technical Sales Specialist, DACH South, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing a new business acquisition strategy within the region.

Reporting directly to the Technical Sales Manager, DACH, this position requires a unique blend of business acumen and scientific expertise in biomolecular analytics instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive New Business Acquisition strategy for the territory, identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities to enhance market presence.
Promote and sell cutting-edge products and solutions across various customer segments in Academia and Industry.
Exceed sales targets, through proactive lead generation and accurate opportunity forecasting.
Cultivate and nurture new business opportunities through the sales funnel, establishing fruitful relationships with potential customers.
Forge strong, enduring relationships with existing customers, ensuring mutual benefits and long-term satisfaction.
Foster robust networks within relevant academic and industrial circles to expand reach and influence.What we are looking for:

Degree in Molecular Biology Science or a related field, additional business degree preferred.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a sales role, with a focus on analytical Capex equipment, preferably in the life sciences sector, specifically in the DACH South territory.
Proficiency in selling strategies and methodologies, including consultative sales and sales profiling frameworks.
Hands-on experience with various bioanalytical techniques.
Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
Familiarity with biopharmaceuticals and biotech start-ups.
Established network within the regional life sciences sector is advantageous.
Fluent in German and English; additional local languages like French are a plus.
Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset and a proven track record of exceeding targets and KPIs.
