SENIOR MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER
I'm currently seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a fast-growing Space company who are transforming and enabling next-generation Space equipment based out of Irvine CA
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Design metallic structures and propulsion fluid systems
* Review specifications and other engineering data to develop mechanical systems
* Update designs and drawings through engineering change orders to support our rapid pace of design iteration
* Create detailed component and assembly drawings incorporating an understanding of GD&T and tolerance stack-ups
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
* 5+ Years as a Mechanical Design Engineer
* Spacecraft design experience
* Experience with 3D CAD software (Solidworks preferred)
* Solid understanding and application of GD&T and tolerance stack-ups
