Hire Resolve’s client is a leading Civil Engineering firm that is urgently seeking the expertise of a CAD Technician in Warren, NJ.
Responsibilities:
Meet with engineers and designers to review design drawings and understand project needs.
Follow instructions from the design team to create and modify design drawings.
Take verbal directions and prepare sketches in Auto CAD format.
Create technical drawings and plans for civil engineering projects.
Assist project team in producing technical drawings.
Coordinate filing, storage, and retrieval of drawings.
Employees in this role will be responsible for meeting their time management goals as set forth by their supervisor.

Collaborate with teammates, management, and clients to continue to foster an inclusive work culture.
Review their own work for accuracy prior to returning the drawings back to manager or other staff.
Requirements
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Technical Degree in Auto/CAD/Drafting Technology
AutoCAD Certification, MicroStation Certification a plus.
0-2 years’ experience as a CAD technician.
Ability to read and translate technical design drawings. Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team environment.
Positive attitude with good initiative.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Self-starter with a curious nature and a strong desire to learn
