Role:
* Future Logistics / Transpport Manager.
* Reporting to the Logistics manager and working closely with the Customer Services Manager you will supervise a team of drivers.
* You will be focussed on ensuring the transport team is successful and achieves its targets.
* You will lead improvement initiatives and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
* You will identify issues negatively affecting performance and implement corrective action plans to resolve.
* This is a leadership role, requiring engagement and coaching to improve performance.
Skills / experience required:
* You must have some record of achievement in a logistics / transportation environment.
* You will have the motivation and ambition to continue to achieve and progress.
* You will be a leader who inspires those around you and encourages excellence.
* High volume / fast paced operations experience is preferable.
* Customer experience is preferable.
Remuneration:
£32,000 - £38,000
