We are currently recruiting for an experiences Control Panel Design Engineer for a well establised Electrical Contractor founded in 1983, Our client is a specilaist in industrial/commercial electrical installation and the manufacture and design of control panels and systems.
The Company opperates on a nationwide basis and aims to provide a comprehensive service tailored to meet customer requirements.
There expertise in project management,design,manufacture and installation guarantees that they can deliver quality,relability and value on all projects.
To succeed in this role , youi will be an experienced control panel/systemdesign engineer looking to help drive the business forward. You will be required to sell, design, quote,organise ,project manage through to build, installation, commisioning and handover at the exisiting succesful control panel workshop,alsongside assisting with the running of the shop floor.
Are you the right person for the job?
* Must be effiencent in autocad
* Eplan would be an advantage
* Good understanding of PLC architecture
* Basic PLC programming is an advantage
* Understanding of ATEX/DSEAR regulations and Specilaist components would be an advantage
* Previous expereince running a busy work shop
* Determination to increase quality standards
* Good communication skills
* Good document control
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Attention to detail and ability to work independently
* Computer literate with microsoft office etc
* Manage Health and Safety aspects at the production site and drive increased safety performance
What your role will lok like?
* Driving both new and existing business,maximise income streams,expanding customer base,generating new enquiries and follow through on all leads.
* Production of schematics,single line diagrams, scope of works, layouts,BOM's OI lists and configurations.
* All types of large and small bespoke control penls for varied industries.
* Safety circuit design.
