We’re on the lookout for a Business Development Manager to join our well-established and respected client in based in Leicester permanent basis.

This role offers between £45000 & £55,000 per annum depending on experience

About the role:

* Develop strong, long-lasting relationships with customers – by understanding their needs and requirements, providing excellent customer service and support, and providing expert product knowledge

* Manage and develop key customer accounts

* Identifying and pursue opportunities for new business

* Sales analysis – understanding of our market sectors, identify gaps, market trends and industry changes

* Participate in sales forecasting and pricing analysis.

* Monitor sales performance against KPIs and take action to ensure KPIs and sales targets are met

* Provide training and expertise on our product range

* Support new product development

* Plan and attend trade exhibitions

* Design and implement a strategic sales plan which expands the company’s customer base, ensures a strong market presence and increases brand awareness

* Develop and evolve sales analysis to inform sales strategy

* Determine appropriate KPIs and sales targets and implement sales plan to achieve targets

* Determine appropriate product pricing, and design effective commercial incentives

* Develop in depth industry and competitor knowledge to create and adjust sales strategies


* Experienced sales professional

* Ability to communicate effectively and build strong commercial relationships

* High degree of IT literacy

* Strong analytical skills

* Commercial acumen

* Demonstrated ability to create and achieve sales plans

* Customer service experience beneficial

* Full UK driving licence
