Signage Final Assembly Operative
Location: Leicester
Pay: Up to £15.50ph DOE
Role Overview:
My client is looking for a productive person, to work in the Final Assembly Department as part of the production line of fabricated signage. Following the schedule and instruction from the Production Supervisor, the Final Assembly Operative will work both alone and as part of a team, maintaining the highest quality control methods with a keen eye to detail.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
Read and interpret assembly instructions from cad drawings.
Working alongside the Production Team to complete tasks in a timely manner.
Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
Ensuring that signs meet clients' specifications and quality standards in terms of spelling, font, size, and medium.
Use of various hand tools to achieve good quality assembly of signage in accordance with safety protocols and maintaining them in the correct manner.
Individuals at times will be expected to work within other departments to assist with production schedule requirements.Skills and Qualifications Needed:
Working with most metals, aluminium composite materials, acrylic and vinyl
Experience within the signage and print industry is needed, ideally within a similar position
Use hand tools and power tools to assemble components and products
LED installation
Use of glues and tapes
Manufacturing LED flex boxes
Manufacture of fabric tension frames
