EMBS Engineering is currently representing an SME that specialises in the manufacture of small to medium-sized precision components, supplying various industry sectors such as Aerospace, Nuclear, Automotive, Oil & Gas, etc.

Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a CNC Miller Programmer to join the business permanently.

As a CNC Miller Programmer, you'll take charge of programming tasks, ensuring precision and efficiency in the machining process. Working closely with the production team, you'll optimise machining strategies and uphold high-quality standards. Your role will involve troubleshooting any issues that arise during machining, demonstrating your problem-solving skills and technical expertise. Staying updated on industry trends and advancements in CNC machining technology will be crucial for enhancing performance and productivity. Additionally, you'll contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment, fostering continuous improvement and innovation.

Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate:

* Strong background in precision engineering machining complex parts for precision industries including Aerospace, Motorsport, Nuclear, MOD, Oil and Gas, among others

* Minimum of 3 years experience in setting, operating, and programming multi-axis CNC machines using both online and offline controls

* Offline programming experience with Fusion 360 and/or EdgeCAM

* Online programming expertise with Fanuc and/or HAAS

* Confident with machining Aluminium, Stainless Steel, and Titanium

* Ability to work with tight tolerances

* Confidence in handling small to medium-sized components

* Able to read and interpret engineering drawings

* Hours: 7am - 4pm Monday - Thursday with 12pm finish on Friday (39 hours)
