Role Overview:
Sole ownership of month end management accounts
Business partnering
Knowledge of purchase ledger
Excellent working knowledge of excel/managing excel models
Public Sector experience
Microsoft Dynamics experience Skills:
Understanding of basic fundamentals at a transactional level – journals, accruals, prepayments etc
Attention to detail
Logical/methodical way of processing accounts Day to day activities will be:
Managing month end - journals (accruals, prepayments), closing the books, review against budget
Month end reporting to budget holders – variance analysis and commentary
Business partnering/monthly reviews with budget holders – advising on commercial/financial matters
Budget management/forecasting
Overseeing purchase ledger – PO’s, goods receipting, invoicing
