Due to company growth, Acorn by Synergie is supporting an exciting engineering company who are looking for a Project Engineer for the mechanical side of the project.

The Mechanical project engineer will be responsible for delivering compressor packages to industry Clients.

In this role you will project manage all aspects of design & production of custom-built packages.

The Main duties of the role will include:

Schedule, monitor and control project activities to meet critical deadlines.

Liaising directly with clients and suppliers to ensure requirements are understood and met e.g. regulatory processes, material, and design specifications such as ASME VIII and PD5500, industry electrical and instrumentation standards. Inhouse company standards also to be met and communicated.

Working with suppliers and clients to resolve problems and find appropriate solutions, while ensuring the companies interests are protected.

Guiding and expediting the design team (drawing office) to produce technical drawings that meet project specification and drive production activities to progress the package build. This includes technical and operational problem solving.

Raising purchase orders for a variety of structural, piping, controls and instrumentation equipment that meet client and company specifications and monitoring costs against project budget.

Supporting the production department and suppliers with prioritising and scheduling manufacturing, build, and test operations to ensure critical milestones are achieved.
