Junior Web Developer (Home Based) – Wakefield - £21k - £25k per annum plus company benefits
Our client is a growing digital agency that provide a range of services to clients and, due to the influx of new web based projects, they are now recruiting for an enthusiastic Junior Web Developer looking to join their team. This is a home based position and would require the successful candidate to attend their offices in Wakefield twice per month.
Main responsibilities of the role will include:
* Supporting the SEO team with onsite web work
* Back end development of new websites based on supplied designs
* Using content management systems (including word press) to build sites
* Providing support and maintenance to current websites
Applicants should possess the following skills / experience:
* Experience of building websites using Wordpress
* Knowledge of programming language e.g. CSS, HTML, PHP etc.
* Ideally have experience of developing e-commerce, particular Woocommerce
* Basic knowledge of Javascript and SEO
* Have a good understanding of digital media
Reporting into the Lead Developer, this is a great position for somebody looking to start their career within a growing digital agency.
This is a full-time permanent position working 35 hours per week
