I have a fantastic opportunity available for a BOHS P402 qualified Asbestos Surveyor to join a thriving UKAS accredited Asbestos Management Consultancy that offer a wide range of Asbestos Surveying, Bulk Analysis, Air Monitoring, Project Management and Consultancy services to a large portfolio of clients in the public and private sector.

Due to the acquisition of a long-term contract based in Bedfordshire, our client is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and quality driven Asbestos Surveyor to join their close-knit team. This is a great opportunity if you are seeking regionalised work as my client also has several contracts located in the surrounding areas.

As an Asbestos Surveyor, you will:

Conduct Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys on a range of commercial sites
Complete annual re-assessments
Undertake bulk sampling when required
Generate comprehensive survey reports to be issued to clients
Ensure that working practices and operations are performed in line with company UKAS accreditation
Communicate effectively with clients, contractors and the public in a professional manner
Assist with training new startersWhat are we looking for?

Full UK driving license
BOHS P402/RSPH3 qualified
Minimum of 2 years' experience in asbestos surveying residential and commercial properties
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent knowledge of HSG: 264
Knowledge of TEAMS (or similar asbestos software)On offer is a competitive starting salary of up to £35,000, along with a benefits package which includes a company vehicle (car/van), fuel card, fantastic overtime rates (non-compulsory!) and fantastic career prospects!
