Production Supervisor - Days
£37,000 - £42,000 Plus Excellent Benefits
The Company
My client is a world leading manufacturer of specialist equipment and supplies into multiple industries. They have over 100 years’ experience and a global manufacturing operation.
They have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Production Supervisor to lead by example in delivering production targets, ensuring the right resources are available to complete the work safely, to the right quality, in the most efficient and effective way.
The Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager the Production Supervisor will have the responsibility that your team is trained & competent with the required work instructions, drawings, facility, tools, materials, and equipment.
Other key responsibilities will include:
* Driving KPI’s to meet the required targets.
* Daily meetings to highlight Safety, Cost, Quality & Delivery
* Creation and updates of production plans
* Leading and delivering Continuous improvements (using Lean)
* Development of operational team members
* Management of any operational safety issues
* Facilitation of problem solving
* Monitoring and improvement of operational processes
* Completion of internal Product and Process audits
* Staff resource planning & cost management
The Candidate
The ideal Production Supervisor will be IOSH qualified with at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role within a demanding Manufacturing environment. You will have a relentless attitude to Health & Safety, be process driven and have a passion for quality.
You are a proven hands-on leader with good PC skills who delivers results through engaging with your team. You are process disciplined, able to initiate and drive Change and be capable of making good autonomous decisions.
You are organised and able to prioritise to achieve the required results and have a practical approach to problem-solving. You have a proven, proactive, and positive approach,
