Quantity Surveyor

The office is located in Byfleet, Surrey, providing a dynamic and vibrant work environment.

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team. Within this role, you will be managing up to 3 projects concurrently, working closely with industry experts in order to expand your knowledge, and guide you to grow into a Senior Quantity Surveyor over time.

Responsibilities:

* Assist in the management and administration of cost control systems for construction projects, including estimating, budgeting, and forecasting.

* Conduct thorough cost analysis and assessment of project budgets, identifying potential cost savings and mitigating risks.

* Prepare and review tender documents, contracts, and other legal agreements, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.

* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting of project costs and financial performance.

* Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress, assess work quality, and verify quantities for valuation purposes.

* Assist in the negotiation of contracts, subcontractor agreements, and change orders, resolving disputes and discrepancies as needed.

* Provide support and guidance to junior team members, fostering their professional development and growth within the organization.
