Our prestigeous Manufacturing Client based in Leek, are looking for a Canner FLT to assist on a temporary assignment for 3 months due to an uplift in business.
Job description:
* Working in a fast-paced, physical role
* Filling vessels and cans
* Labelling
* Use of FLT counterbalance
* Strong English and Numeracy skills
* Keen eye for detail
* Filling drums with finished products and preparing them for despatch by correctly labelling and banding to the pallet.
* Moving drums/pallets/IBC’s etc. around site using Fork Lift Trucks
* Carry out basic FLT checks to ensure suitable for operational use
* Maintain yard/warehouse housekeeping standards
* Report any health, safety or environmental incident or Near Miss
* Update records/computer system where necessary
Hours of work 8am - 4pm, Pay rate £12.50ph - £13.50ph temporary and ongoing
