Technical Sales Engineer

Overview:

We’re looking for an experienced technical sales engineer to join our operations team in Normanton, West Yorkshire. You’ll be working as part of a team with strong hydraulic knowledge in a dynamic customer driven role.

As technical sales support, you’ll provide technical support and quotations to customers on hydraulic/electrical components and systems, offering excellent customer service and strong technical unbiased advice.

We are a premium supplier of high-quality hydraulic equipment into the Transport, Mobile, & Industrial market sectors. We deal with leading distributors including Parker, Hydro Leduc and many more.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Develop a deep understanding of hydraulic components and systems and their applications.

* Provide technical support to customer enquiries for hydraulic and electrical enquiries.

* Produce and manage customer quotations.

* Follow up on sales leads.

Successful Candidate will have:

* Enthusiasm and ambition to provide technical advice and excellent customer service.

* Strong communication skills.

* Flexible approach to day-to-day requirements.

* Ability to work on your own initiative and involvement on team projects.

* Strong hydraulic component and systems experience.

* Knowledge of truck electrification would be advantageous (not essential)

Additional information:

* £30K-£40K subject to experience

* 25 days holiday + bank holidays
