Role purpose / summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) Consultant who possesses in-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and has extensive experience in implementing SAP projects across multiple lifecycle phases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP SD module, with a focus on best practices, and hands-on experience in UAT (User Acceptance Testing), plants abroad deployment, go-live, and cutover activities.

Responsibilities:

SAP SD Implementation:
Lead and participate in the end-to-end implementation of SAP SD module in alignment with best practices and business requirements.
Configure and customize SAP SD functionalities according to business needs, ensuring optimal system performance and user experience.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SD module with other SAP modules such as MM (Materials Management), FI (Finance), and PP (Production Planning).
Analyze and document business processes, identify gaps, and propose solutions leveraging SAP SD capabilities.

Solution Design and Documentation:
Design functional specifications and conduct FUT based on business requirements, ensuring scalability and sustainability.
Document configuration, customizations, and integration points for future reference and knowledge transfer.

User Acceptance Testing (UAT):
Develop UAT scenarios and test cases to validate the functionality and usability of SAP SD solution.
Coordinate UAT activities, facilitate user workshops, and provide support to end-users during the testing phase.

Global Deployment and Localization:
Demonstrate expertise in deploying SAP SD solutions in multi-site and international environments, including plants abroad.
Address localization requirements such as forms using BRF+, tax regulations, legal compliance, and intrastat reporting.

Go-Live and Cutover Management:
Plan and execute go-live and cutover activities for SAP SD module, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Conduct post-implementation reviews and support hypercare activities to address any issues or enhancements.

Training and Knowledge Transfer:
Deliver training sessions to end-users and key stakeholders on SAP SD functionalities, processes, and best practices.
Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions with internal teams and provide ongoing support for skill development.

Key Skills/ requirements

Minimum 10 years of experience as an SAP SD Consultant with a focus on SAP S/4HANA implementations.
Strong understanding of SAP SD module functionalities including sales order management, pricing, billing, plants abroad, tax, Fiori and logistics execution.
Proficiency in SAP SD configuration, customization, and integration with other SAP modules.
Experience in leading UAT activities and supporting end-users during the testing phase.
Hands-on experience in deploying SAP solutions with chemical industry preferable.
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders at all levels.
Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
SAP certification in Sales and Distribution (SD) module is preferred.
Willingness to travel as required for project engagements.
