My client is looking to recruit an experienced HR Advisor to join their friendly team.
Duties:
• Be the first point of contact for all queries coming into the People Team, escalating complex queries to the Head of HR where necessary
• To provide an efficient, high quality and customer focused people service to all stakeholders of the organisation, providing support to Managers and employees as required
• Professional support and advice on a range of employment issues including policies and procedures, employment legislation and good practice, providing expert advice to resolve employee relations issues including performance management, redundancy, disciplinary and grievances, exits etc.
• Manage all administration aspects of the employee lifecycle activities such as drafting contracts, new employee documentation, pre-employment and DBS checks, absence management, exit interviews, leaver administration, salary changes, variation of contract, benefits, probationary and performance reviews, payroll administration, producing statistics/data, etc
• Participate in employee engagement initiatives such as creating internal communications, attending the Employee Forum and Social Committee, taking and preparing notes following any meetings
• Maintaining detailed and accurate records in respect of electronic personnel files, trackers and SAGE HR
• Support the Recruitment and Training Coordinator with onboarding, delivering induction training in their absence and preparation of in-house training sessions
About you:
* Proven work experience in a HR Advisor capacity
* Minimum CIPD level 5
* Knowledge of employment legislation and practical experience of HR procedure, processes and practices
* Strong IT skills and experience of working with HR Information systems
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Attention to detail specifically around data entry, meeting notes, letters etc
