Connect Appointments have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join our client in the Bedford/Cambridge area.
Our client provides, fits and services various equipment and furniture to the UK Care Home Sector. Therefore, this position could involve staying away 2/3 nights per week, servicing equipment on the sites of customers in the Bedford/Cambridge region.
What's on offer?
Permanent position
Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week
£30,000 per annum
A company vanWorking as a Field Service Engineer, your role will be to carry out planned and reactive equipment maintenance, mainly on mechanical and electrical components. Combined with:
Attending reactive breakdown call-out to equipment
Carrying out and completing repair work required
Carrying out installations of new equipment, such as floor and ceiling mounted hoists, and baths
Provide excellent customer service
Report any sales opportunities back to the officeTo be successful you will have experience in a maintenance enviroment, which involves working within the Care Sector. Combined with:
Experience in customer service
A good grounding in mechanical engineering
Some knowledge of electrical engineering
A full UK driving license
A degree of IT literacyPlease Note - To be successful you must hold a CRB certificate or be able to pass this.
Nights Away & Travel?
The client will provide an evening meal; a room in a Premier Inn (or similar), and breakfast. However, no extra monies will be paid by the company.
