Freelance Quantity Surveyor – Externals Contractor
Location: East & West Midlands
Contract: Freelance
A specialist externals contractor is looking for a Freelance Quantity Surveyor to support their commercial team. This role offers a mix of office-based work and site visits, depending on project demands.
Responsibilities:

Measuring price work to ensure accurate valuations
*
Liaising with the main contractor’s commercial team to manage costs and variations
*
Involvement in pricing tenders and supporting contract negotiations
*
Office-based 2-3 days per week, with the remainder spent on-site as needed
Requirements:
*
Experience working with externals and facades is desirable
*
Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage multiple projects
*
Previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry
