M&P Survey is currently looking for a Deliveries Coordinator to come and join our team based at our main office in Ellesmere Port. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary circa £25,000 per annum depending upon experience

M&P Survey are Leica Geosystems main UK dealer and part of the Hexagon group. We are a progressive company supplying survey solutions to civil engineering, construction and land surveying industries.
We specialise in bringing innovative technology to market including the most advanced GNSS, mobile mapping, 3D laser scanners, UAV’S and total station solutions available to geospatial professionals.
About the role:
The Deliveries Coordinator is a combined driving and office-based role. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out deliveries to support our existing driving team and planning the deliveries of orders from our busy Hire, Sales and Service departments.
This is a busy and challenging role requiring a hands-on approach with the highest levels of attention to detail. You will be responsible for picking and checking equipment prior to scheduling deliveries via either our own driving team or third-party couriers. Deliveries are to be carried out in line within agreed customer expectations, whilst also ensuring the overall efficiency and cost effectiveness of planned routes.
Full training and support will be provided to the successful candidate.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Domestic travel may occasionally be required for training purposes as we are part of a larger group of companies with offices in Milton Keynes and Eaton Socon near Cambridge
Key responsibilities as our Deliveries Coordinator will include:
Carrying out deliveries to construction sites and offices, in line with company procedures
Ensuring that Hire, Sales and Service returns are picked, checked and ready for dispatch
Ensuring courier dispatches are ready for couriers arrival late afternoon
Optimising deliveries throughout the North of England
For in house deliveries, planning with efficiency the forthcoming day’s routes for each driver
Maintaining contact with delivery team to understand any potential issues or delays
Providing support for all areas of the business during peak times
Assisting in serving customers at our busy trade counter
Ability to cover full driver’s duties when required
All duties described may be adapted and are not limited to the above, to meet the needs of a changing organisation.
What we’re looking for in our Deliveries Coordinator:
Full clean driving licence.
Good knowledge of the daily geographical territory
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both telephony and email
Excellent knowledge of English
Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with multiple stakeholders
Organised and capable of managing and prioritising multiple tasks
Team oriented – ability to work well with diverse, cross-functional teams
Previous experience in a driving or logistics based role is desirable but not essential
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to adapt to new systems and support technological development for the benefit of the business.
