A hugely successful machine tools provider in the UK, is recruiting for an experienced Sales Manager to join their expanding team.

Responsibilities for the Sales Manager include -

To spearhead a product line that's well established and recognized in the CNC metal fabrication industry
Develop key customer relationships, together with attracting and building on these relationships to maximise sales growth
Provide solutions for new customers, using your problem-solving skills to identify needs and formulate technical solutions
Support the Sales Director in negotiations, ensuring that both the Operational needs and costs are met and that the customer needs and expectations are supported
Provide input to commercial strategy programmes and innovation solutions, as well as budget planning in support of relevant projects and new business acquisition
To plan, attend and deliver demonstrations of equipment, support trade fairs and exhibitions throughout the yearTo be successful in this Sales Manager role, the suitable candidate will have the following skills and experience -

Sales management experience within capital equipment or machine tool sales, especially around metal fabrication or laser cutting machinery
Strong negotiation skills with a consultative sales approach
Comfortable giving presentations
Networking, interpersonal, relationship building & stakeholder management skills
High levels of commercial awareness and an astute eye for identifying commercial opportunities.
Analytical and good with data; including, sales and marketing trends, benchmarking, joint business plans, and forecasting
Creative and strategic thinker, able to challenge established ways of doing things
