Newstaff Employment Services are currently recruiting for a Despatch Operative for a large Pipe Coupling manufacturing company based in Milton Keynes
The company is the world’s leading supplier of mechanical couplings into marine, building services and utilities industries. Exporting product all over the globe and with a buoyant UK market this is a very progressive business built on solid foundations.
Duties will include:
Handling and checking finished goods (steel pipe couplings)
Bagging couplings
Packing to pallets/boxes/crates as required
Taping, wrapping and labelling
Use of pallet trucks (manual)
Use of hand and automatic shrink- wrappers
Preparing boxes from flat packs (foot pedal stapler)
Supporting goods in activities if required
Supporting some basic production activities if required
Must:
Ability to work efficiently to deadlines
Good attention to detail
Flexible and hard-working
Ability to prioritise
Calm under pressure
Able to use a PC
General Health & Safety competence (induction and training will be given)
Physical ability to handle loads up to 20/25kg
Ability to follow instructions
Factory experience preferred

Shifts and Pay:
Monday to Friday
8am to 4.30pm
30 mins unpaid lunch, x 2 tea breaks paid
21 + pay £11.44
18 to 20 pay £10.50
