Description
Manage and maintain the fleet of commercial vehicles.
Ensure compliance with all transport regulations and safety standards.
Liaise with external service providers for vehicle maintenance and repairs.
Implement and monitor safety procedures for the fleet.
Develop strategies for fleet optimisation and cost-efficiency.
Handle the administrative tasks related to fleet management.
Coordinate with the engineering & manufacturing department for technical support.
Provide regular reports on fleet performance and maintenance to senior management.Profile
A successful Fleet Engineer should have:
A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (desired, not essential).
Extensive knowledge of commercial vehicles and transport regulations.
Strong managerial and organisational skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a hands-on approach to work.
Good communication skills to liaise with external service providers and internal teams.Job Offer
